In the Christian tradition, Easter Sunday, which this year is celebrated on April 5, commemorates the transition from death to eternal life, represented in the resurrection of Jesus. In parallel, in popular culture, this date is also associated with the family tradition of giving chocolate eggs to children. In this context, Grupo Nuestros Parques has prepared a special program in its five park cemeteries, with activities that invite all families.

“We are a permanent meeting space to honor the life and memory of our loved ones. Therefore, for this Easter Sunday, the invitation is to experience an integral moment where each family gathers to share a time of reflection and remembrance, but where we have also prepared surprises for the children,” explains Erich Sandrock, the company's Commercial Manager. During the long weekend, the cemeteries will receive more than 30,000 visitors; they will operate during regular hours, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and on Sunday the 5th, they will host “The Joy of Easter in Your Park,” a family activity where chocolate eggs will be given away, masses will be held, there will be fairs for entrepreneurs, and special areas for children.

“Holy Week invites us to pause, reflect, and connect with our loved ones. Religious ceremonies allow us to accompany that moment of introspection that many people seek when visiting those who are no longer with us,” adds Sandrock. Additionally, the five parks will host fairs for local entrepreneurs, an initiative coordinated with the municipalities, offering various products such as crafts, plants, textiles, jewelry, religious items, and nuts, among others.

“It is very important for us to boost the economy of each community through collaborative work with the municipalities, allowing for spaces for entrepreneurship and culture,” emphasizes the commercial manager of GNP.
