Iran has reportedly received a 15-point proposal from the United States, facilitated by Pakistan, according to two Pakistani officials who spoke to the Associated Press on condition of anonymity. These sources indicated that Islamabad acted as a channel to deliver the plan to Tehran amid diplomatic efforts to curb the escalation in the Middle East. The Pakistani officials broadly described the content of the initiative, noting that it includes measures such as the lifting of sanctions, dismantling Iran's nuclear program, limitations on its missiles, and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.

So far, Iran has not officially confirmed receiving the proposal. Moreover, in recent official statements from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other authorities, they have insisted that there is no ongoing direct dialogue with Washington. However, mediation of the conflict through other regional governments has been confirmed.

On Wednesday, the Vice President for Foreign Affairs of the ruling party, Harun Armagan, told Reuters that Turkey "is playing a mediating role" between Iran and the United States. In addition to Turkey and Pakistan, Egypt is reportedly acting as a mediator to promote de-escalation of the conflict and direct dialogue between Washington and Tehran. In fact, the New York Times reported that these three countries were working to have both parties negotiate in Islamabad as soon as this Thursday.

Although Iran has not confirmed the talks and Israel, the third party in the conflict as an ally of the U. S. , is not involved in the process, the market has reacted to the latest news as positive signals for a swift cessation of hostilities.
