Athletes from different regions of the country brought life to an exciting day at the Ester Roa Rebolledo Stadium, where para-athletics was the star of a true sports festival. Two days marked by emotion, effort, and overcoming were experienced at the Ester Roa Rebolledo Stadium, the venue for the National Para-Athletics Open that gathered the best representatives in the country.

The competition began last Saturday with a program that included 11 events, leading to intense days where each athlete gave their all on the track. On Sunday, the event concluded with a total of 135 athletes representing 43 clubs from nine regions of Chile. Organized by the Chilean Paralympic Committee and supported by the Municipality of Concepción, the event stood out not only for its high competitive level but also for the spirit of inclusion and camaraderie that was felt in every event.

Among the standout figures of the tournament was María Jesús Lara, who arrived with three gold medals in the Junior category after winning the 100, 200, and 400 meters. Amanda Cerna also shone, solidifying her great present with outstanding performances, and Nicolás Castro, a reference in shot put at the parapanamerican level. The National Para-Athletics Open made it clear that adapted sports continue to grow strongly in the country, driven by athletes who inspire with their example both on and off the track.
