A Haitian man died early Thursday morning due to multiple stab wounds received in the Quilicura commune. According to preliminary information, the 31-year-old was the victim of an attempted car theft, and he decided to resist the actions of the criminals. As a result, the assailants attacked him with a knife in the chest area.
Despite his injuries, the victim managed to get back into his vehicle and apparently drove himself to a medical facility. However, his journey came to a halt on Colo Colo Avenue, at number 200, in the Quilicura commune. There, he exited the car and used a hose at the location to clean his bloodied face before collapsing in the street.
Local residents noticed the situation and took the man to the SAPU Rodrigo Rojas De Negri. It was confirmed at this location that he had died later that night. The on-duty prosecutor has instructed specialized work from LABOCAR and OS9, and a spokesperson will provide new details about the case shortly.
