A new arson attack was reported last night in the Southern Macrozone, the first under the administration of President José Antonio Kast, where armed hooded individuals stole a truck and then burned it in Collipulli. Two people traveling on route R-49 were intercepted by a truck, from which three hooded and armed individuals emerged. "They forced the victims to get out of the vehicle and then proceeded to burn it," said Major Héctor Ibarra, commissioner of the Second Police Station of Collipulli.

Subsequently, the criminals fled along the same route in an unknown direction. Firefighters from Collipulli arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire. "Carabineros personnel quickly arrived at the scene, provided assistance to the victim, and contacted the Public Prosecutor's Office," added the officer.

The Prosecutor's Office instructed the attendance of specialized teams from Labocar and the OS9 of Carabineros.
