Santiago Metro announced the closure of several stations on Line 1 due to a student march that took place this Thursday in downtown Santiago. The march began at 12:00 PM at the former National Congress and will end at Plaza Argentina in Estación Central. The mobilization was called by student organizations ACES, CONFECH, Red de Solidaridad Estudiantil, and FEUSACH, in rejection of the latest measures taken by the government.

In Santiago, a group of hooded individuals threw blunt objects at Carabineros de Control de Orden Público at the intersection of Alameda and Lord Cochrane, endangering the safety of passersby. It is advised to prefer alternative routes and to proceed with caution.
