With the arrival of Holy Week, the "epicenter of Ñuble culture" officially inaugurated the Santa Greda 2026 Fair at the La Guitarrera Events Center in Quinchamalí, which will run until Sunday. This traditional festival offers three days to experience local traditions, providing a unique opportunity to connect with culture and local stories. Marcela Rodríguez, president of the Potters' Committee, welcomed the authorities and expressed the guild's desire for this productive meeting.

"What do we expect as potters or exhibitors? To have good sales," Rodríguez stated. The exhibitor also invited the community to explore the stands because "there is not only pottery; there is a variety of products that you can buy during the three days of the event.

" Chillán's mayor, Camilo Benavente, highlighted the international significance of this heritage and the importance of strengthening it. "We know that our pottery is recognized nationally and globally, and in that sense, we are working to ensure that it continues to grow," the mayor affirmed. Benavente also emphasized that the fair is a space for reflection and a safe family gathering, thanking the deployment of Carabineros and security guards to protect children and the elderly.
