The Senate gives the green light to the formation of its committees: Here is how the presidencies and members were distributed.

In the Interior Government, the presidency is held by Danisa Astudillo (PS), accompanied by Ricardo Celis (PPD), Renzo Trisotti (Republicans), Miguel Becker (RN), and Esteban Velásquez (FRVS). Foreign Relations will be led by Manuel José Ossandón (RN), along with Rodolfo Carter, Iván Moreira (UDI), Vlado Mirosevic (Liberal Party), and Loreto Carvajal (PPD). The Constitution commission will be chaired by Pedro Araya (PPD), along with Longton, Claudia Pascual (PC), Squella, and Vodanovic.

In Labor, the leadership will fall to Luciano Cruz-Coke (Evópoli), with Andrea Balladares (RN), Arturo Squella (Republicans), Gastón Saavedra (PS), and a member of the united committee. The Economy commission will be chaired by Gastón Saavedra (PS), and will also include Celis, Carlos Kuschel (RN), Matías Walker (Democrats), and Diego Ibáñez (FA). For Water Resources, the presidency is held by Karol Cariola, while the members will be Ricardo Celis (PPD), Cicardini, Kuschel, and Urrutia.

The Women’s commission will be under the leadership of Carvajal, accompanied by Cicardini, Paulina Núñez (RN), Vanessa Kaiser (PNL), and Beatriz Sánchez (FA). In the Elderly commission, Sebastián Keitel (Evópoli) will assume the presidency, along with Becker, Kaiser, Castro, and Fabiola Campillai (IND). The Culture commission will be chaired by De Urresti, with participation from Keitel, Enrique Lee, Alejandra Sepúlveda, and Beatriz Sánchez.

Finally, in the Family commission, the presidency will fall to Vanessa Kaiser, with Balladares, Van Rysselberghe, Carvajal, and Campillai.
