U. S. President Donald Trump urged Republicans on Sunday not to negotiate any agreements with Senate Democrats until they approve his bill that would require mandatory identification proof for anyone registering to vote in federal elections.

"I don't think we should reach any agreement with the radical left Democrats, crazy and country-destroyers, unless they vote with Republicans to pass the 'Save America Act. ' It is much more important than anything else we are doing in the Senate," Trump wrote in a message on his Truth Social network. Trump has been pushing this bill for months to end what he claims are widespread fraudulent practices in electoral processes.

He even asserted that many non-U. S. citizens have voted illegally in elections.

In his message on Truth, the magnate urged not to make any concessions, including budget cuts for the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) that Democrats have proposed, which he deemed unacceptable. Trump demands that Democrats approve photo identification, require citizenship to vote, prohibit mail-in voting (with exceptions), and "the exclusive use of paper ballots. " Moreover, there are two requirements regarding transgender individuals that Trump wants to include in the "Save America Act.

" One is the exclusion of transgender women from women's sports, and the other is the prohibition of minors undergoing gender reassignment surgeries. The bill was approved in the House of Representatives in February but is still being debated in the Senate, where it is considered to lack sufficient support for approval.
