In this regard, Jorge Barriga, president of the Biobío teachers' union, stated that while the messages were posted when the official was younger, it is concerning that he referred to minors. ) With this, we do not want to say that the regional secretary is unfit to assume the position, but of course, these messages from not long ago raised alarms for us and, to some extent, we question his appointment," Barriga said in statements reported by Radio Biobío. The controversial messages from the Minister of Education The messages were published by Alexander Nanjarí in November 2024, responding to another individual on the social network X, where they discussed the appropriateness of having a romantic relationship with younger women. In that context, Nanjarí stated that "10 years is nothing," adding further down that it would be "much better if she is younger," and then that "if there is maturity despite the younger age, that's a 11/10.
