I° Congress of Literature, Arts, and Education University of O'Higgins, Rancagua Campus, Avenida Libertador Bernardo O'Higgins 611, Rancagua. September 2 to 4. The University of O'Higgins (UOH) will hold the I° Congress of Literature, Arts, and Education: Narratives and Landscapes, an academic event aimed at creating a space for interdisciplinary reflection on the relationships between literature, arts, and education.

The meeting will take place from September 2 to 4, 2026, at the Rancagua Campus, and will gather researchers, educators, students, artists, and cultural mediators from across the country. The initiative proposes to analyze the concept of landscape from a cultural and symbolic perspective, understanding that it refers not only to a geographical environment but also to the ways in which communities construct narratives, memories, and identities about the territories they inhabit. In this context, the congress invites reflection on how these representations appear in literary works, artistic expressions, and educational experiences.

Isabel Ibaceta, chair of the organizing committee and an academic at the Institute of Educational Sciences of UOH, states that the meeting aims to foster dialogues around "how representations of landscape allow us to think about themes such as identity, language, memory, and territory, among others, and how these perspectives can enrich both research, cultural production and mediation, as well as pedagogical practices. " The congress also hopes to promote dialogue between these areas, and in line with this, Ibaceta indicates that the meeting seeks to "bring together researchers, educators, mediators, and creators who work at the intersection of literature, other arts, and education. " The congress will include individual presentations, thematic panels, keynote speeches by invited specialists, and some cultural activities.

Those interested in presenting at the Congress can submit their proposals for presentations or panels, considering the following timeline: Submission of proposals: until April 17, 2026. These must be sent through the Application Form. Notification of acceptance/rejection: from May 18, 2026.
