The student mobilization "7A" will begin at 1:00 PM in Talca, with an authorized route supervised by Carabineros, in rejection of transportation fare increases and cuts to student benefits. A massive student mobilization will take place this Tuesday, April 7, in the city of Talca, under the slogan "7A," called by university federations and student councils from prominent high schools. The march will start at 1:00 PM from the Lircay Campus of the University of Talca, marking the beginning of a route that covers various sectors of the regional capital.

The procession will advance along Avenida Lircay, continue to Avenida Cancha Rayada, and then connect with Calle 11 Oriente, where students from the San Miguel Campus of the Catholic University of Maule will join. From that point, the column will head down the Alameda, gathering participants in front of establishments such as Liceo Abate Molina and Liceo Marta Donoso. Subsequently, the route will incorporate students from the Autonomous University of Chile at the intersection of Alameda and Diagonal, concluding at the Plaza de Armas of Talca, in front of the Cathedral and the Regional Government of Maule, where the organizers will present a petition.

The Federation of Students of the University of Talca (FEUTAL) confirmed that the mobilization has been authorized by the Regional Presidential Delegation of Maule and that the route was coordinated with Carabineros, who will maintain order and manage vehicular traffic throughout the day. The main demands focus on the rise in fuel prices and the increase of up to 50% in intercity transportation fares, a situation that directly impacts students who travel daily from other municipalities. Additionally, there are concerns regarding cuts to student benefits, such as the BAES scholarship, amid budget adjustments from the Ministry of Education and JUNAEB.

The organization also emphasized the peaceful nature of the event. "Let’s take care of each other, maintain the peacefulness of the mobilization, and defend our social rights," they stated in their call, urging citizens to inform themselves through official channels and to understand potential traffic diversions.
