Professionals, companies, and stakeholders from the construction sector participated in Chillán in the second day of the Regulatory Workshop on Modern Construction Methods (MMC), an event that allowed for a practical discussion on the technical evaluation criteria applied to industrialized housing projects. The activity was part of the Integrated Territorial Program (PTI) for Industrialized Housing Construction in the Ñuble Region and focused on understanding how projects are reviewed from an institutional perspective, particularly from Serviu. During the session, architect and technical analyst in the area of housing projects and works at Serviu Ñuble, Gonzalo Martínez Hormazábal, led the discussions, addressing the review sequence, the main observation criteria, and the most common errors in project formulation.
"One of the main challenges we have identified is that many observations are not related to the technology itself, but to aspects of coordination, traceability, and technical support. Therefore, these instances are key for companies to understand how projects are actually evaluated and to anticipate requirements," commented the professional. The session also included a case study analysis, where participants reviewed a typical project in real-time from an evaluative perspective, identifying technical gaps and critical errors that affect the approval processes.
