Since Wrestlemania began to be held over two nights, there has been much discussion about the need for the event to truly be divided into two days, as well as the lack of balance between both nights. Generally, the Sunday card, which theoretically corresponds to the classic Wrestlemania, tends to be a bit more loaded and is considered to have the main event as the biggest of the day. For this 2026 edition of the event, which will again take place in Las Vegas, the community agrees that the matches on April 19 are more appealing or at least better structured than those on the first night.
This is despite the fact that Saturday's event currently has one more match, and for Chileans, it will be special as it is the night when Stephanie Vaquer will defend her title against Liv Morgan. In particular, Night 2 of Wrestlemania 42 will feature the highly anticipated match between CM Punk and Roman Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, as well as the return of Demon Finn Bálor against Dominik Mysterio, the brutal clash between Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi, and the always entertaining ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship, which this time will include three Mexican wrestlers, including champion Penta and Rey Mysterio. Night 2 of Wrestlemania will be broadcast live on Netflix next Sunday, April 19, starting at 6:00 PM, and here are the announced matches: CM Punk (c) vs.
Roman Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Demon Finn Bálor vs. Dominik Mysterio, Jade Cargill (c) vs. Rhea Ripley for the WWE Women's Championship, Sami Zayn (c) vs.
Trick Williams for the United States Championship, Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi, Penta (c) vs. JD McDonagh vs.
Dragon Lee vs. J’Von Evans vs. Rey Mysterio vs.
Rusev in a ladder match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
